About Program

  • The Faculty of Open and Distance Education’s Journalism Distance Education Program aims to train the future communicators by equipping them with fundamental knowledge and skills related to communication studies through a participatory approach and student-centered educational methods. It also seeks to create environments and opportunities where students can apply this knowledge and these skills to real life. This 4-year undergraduate program aims to help students develop essential social skills, including skills, including self-criticism, benefiting from others’ feedback, and taking initiative. It also fosters intellectual and social environments that encourage them to perform their profession conscientiously, upholding human dignity and awareness of social issues.

Program Objective
